November 2015 Nintendo Direct Amiibo Round-up
Nintendo announced a number of new Amiibo during its most recent Nintendo Direct. Here's what's coming.
Wolf Link and Midna
An Amiibo based on Wolf Link complete with Midna on top is releasing alongside Twilight Princess HD. It's unclear exactly how it will work, but data from that Amiibo will do something in Zelda Wii U.
Gold Mega Man
Included with the Mega Man Legacy collection for 3DS, Mega Man's Smash Bros. Amiibo is getting a coat of gold paint and will unlock special challenges in the game.
Lucas
The DLC Super Smash Bros. character from a game that has technically never released in North America (Mother 3) is arriving in January
Mr. Resetti, Blathers, Kicks, and Celeste
The terrifying mole from Animal Crossing can now stare at you all the time, judging you silently from your desk and the talkative owl from Animal Crossing's museum is getting his own Amiibo. Kicks and Celeste are on their way, too.
Shadow Mewtwo card
It's not an Amiibo, but Pokken Tournament will come with a Shadow Mewtwo card so he can be unlocked immediately. He can be unlocked through normal play, but this speeds up the process. For more on Shadow Mewtwo, head here.
