Fallout 4 Glitch Lets You Grab Every Bottle Cap From Nearly Any Vendor

by Kyle Hilliard on Nov 11, 2015 at 01:39 PM

There is a glitch in Fallout 4 that, if executed correctly, will net you nearly infinite bottle caps.

IGN's Fallout Wiki discovered the glitch. Summarized, it let's you trick an vendor out of all their available caps. It won't net you infinite caps from a single vendor, but it will boost your bank tremendously, and you can do it to any vendor.

To activate the glitch, buy all of any type of ammo from a vendor, sell them one of that ammo type back without finalizing the sale, then sell them the rest of the ammo, all without finalizing. This will cause the single piece of ammo to get stuck, so to speak, in your inventory, allowing you to sell it back infinitely. You can find a more detailed explanation of this glitch by heading here.

Our Take
You better grab all the bottle caps you can before the bug gets patched. I'm sure Bethesda already has a healthy collection of bugs it plans on fixing soon. I imagine this one would be a priority.
