If Fallout 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, or Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void aren't what you're looking for this week, perhaps a trip to your back catalog is. Microsoft has announced the first slate of Xbox 360 titles that will be backward compatible on Xbox One.

The list includes a healthy rundown of Microsoft Studios games, but Square Enix, SNK, Disney, and Ubisoft have also contributed to the roster. Here's what you can play via digital license or disc on November 12:

Microsoft has also confirmed some titles due on the series in the coming months. Regular updates will start in December, and the list will eventually include Halo Reach, Halo Wars, Call of Duty: Black Ops, BioShock, BioShock 2, BioShock Infinite, and Skate 3. Further, all future Xbox 360 Games with Gold titles will be available for backward compatibility starting with this month.

Our Take
This is a hefty list, and it's good to see that Activision, 2K, Sega, Square Enix, Bethesda, and EA are going to be contributing in addition to the publishers mentioned above. Backward compatability gives Microsoft and partners an easy way to bundle in additional games to swing multi-platform gamers to Xbox One.
