Watch The New Trailer For Marvel's Jessica Jones TV Series

by Andrew Reiner on Oct 23, 2015 at 05:13 AM

Hot on the heels of the successful Daredevil TV series, Netflix will release a 13-episode show based on Marvel's largely unknown character Jessica Jones. The entire first season of Jessica Jones launches on November 20.

The first full-length trailer for the show hit today, and it looks just as dark and haunting as Brian Michael Bendis' famous run with the character in the comic book series Alias. The show starts Krysten Ritter as Jessica, David Tennant as Kilgrave, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Rachel Taylor as Hellcat, and Mike Colter as Luke Cage. Jessica Jones is the second of five shows signed by Netflix. Next up are shows for Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders.

Here's Netflix's official summary for Jessica Jones:

"After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a private detective in Hell's Kitchen. It's time the world knew her name..."
