Check Your Email For The Legend Of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes Demo Codes

by Mike Futter on Oct 14, 2015 at 09:06 AM

The Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes is more Four Swords than Link Between Worlds. If you don’t know what to make of the multiplayer-focused game, you might have a chance to try it before it’s out.

Nintendo is sending out codes to some 3DS owners. You’ll get three of them, so you can bring two friends along to check it out how it’s meant to be played.

You can play local co-op at any time, but if you want to try out the online play, Nintendo is offering three test windows. You can sign-in at the following times to team-up with other adventurers:

  • October 16 from 5 p.m. Pacific / 8 p.m. Eastern through 10 p.m. Pacific / 1 a.m. Eastern
  • October 17 from 5 p.m. Pacific / 8 p.m. Eastern through 10 p.m. Pacific / 1 a.m. Eastern
  • October 18 from 7 a.m. Pacific / 10 a.m. Eastern through 12 p.m. Pacific / 3 p.m. Eastern

The Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes will be out on October 23. For more, check out our recent coverage.

Our Take
Nintendo is smart to send each person codes for two friends. While you can take on Tri-Force heroes as a solo game, it appears that teaming up with other human players is going to be the ideal way to play.
