Compete In The Summit Competition During The Crew's Wild Run Closed Beta

by Marcus Stewart on Oct 05, 2015 at 10:15 AM

Hot off the heels of Ubisoft's acquisition of The Crew developer Ivory Tower, the publisher has announced a closed beta for Wild Run, the upcoming expansion for The Crew. Beginning October 15 and ending October 19, players can test drive the new DLC as well as showcase their skills in a competition called The Summit.

Described as an "unofficial gathering" of drivers from around the country, The Summit presents racers with a series of challenges such as drag racing, stunts, and drifting. Earning qualifier medals in those events secures a place among the elite in The Summit Finale. Players can compete in The Summit driving Wild Run's new vehicles: dragsters, drifters, monster trucks, and motorcycles.

During the beta, players will also be able to partake in PvE or PvP missions to earn new vehicle customization options and improve their ranking. If that's not enough to do, FreeDrive activities, skill challenges, and other stunt competitions will be playable.

You can register for the beta on The Crew’s website. Wild Run will be available for download Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC versions of The Crew on November 17.
