Rare Shows Off Conker's Kid-Friendly Roots With Conker's Quest Gameplay

It's widely known that Conker began his life as a kid-friendly platformer, but it's rare to see his original form in motion.

As part of the continuing celebration of its history (which includes the recent release of Rare Replay), Rare put together a short video showing off Conker's Quest, which would later turn into Twelve Tales: Conker 64, and eventually take a radical left turn into mature-rated territory to become Conker's Bad Fur Day.

You can check out the video below to see the transition, as narrated by Rare's Louise O'Connor, which offers gameplay, a look at the game's original mechanics, as well as its other playable characters that aren't named Conker.
