Rainbow Six Siege Beta Extended Until October 4

by Mike Futter on Sep 30, 2015 at 10:24 AM

It was supposed to wrap up tomorrow, but now you have the weekend to give Rainbow Six Siege a try. The beta was just extended by another three days.

If you’ve played at least one match by 2 p.m. Eastern yesterday, you’ll be receiving an email with codes for your friends. These will be for the same platform on which you’ve played.

Those codes will only be redeemable until October 2, and the registration page for new interested players will be coming down tomorrow. This weekend will also double up the renown rewards so you can unlock more of the operators to try out.

The beta will now wrap up on October 4. The full game is due out on December 1 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. For more, check out our most recent hands-on preview.

Our Take
There’s still a chance that Ubisoft will open this up and really push its servers in the last day or two. Given the online focus for this installment, there needs to be a smooth launch come December.
