Mario Tennis Ultra Smash Takes The Court Right Before Black Friday
Nintendo is squeezing one more title in before the biggest shopping day of the year. Mario Tennis Ultra Smash has a November release date.
The game was first revealed at E3 this year, and we had some hands on time with it. The roster hasn’t been fully detailed, and the only power up we’ve played with so far is the super mushroom.
Mario Tennis Ultra Smash slides in between Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water and Xenoblade Chronicles X with a November 20 release date. It supports up to four players and will retail for $49.99.

Our Take
Mario-themed sports games are hit-or-miss, and we haven’t had nearly enough hands on time to figure out where this one will land. Regardless, it certainly isn’t the highlight of this fall’s thin lineup. That title will go to Super Mario Maker, Yoshi’s Woolly World, or Xenoblade Chronicles X.
