Mega Man Legends Finally Arrives On PlayStation Store Next Week

by Mike Futter on Sep 22, 2015 at 09:56 AM

After years of begging and pleading, Capcom has finally heard your requests. Bringing Mega Man Legends to PlayStation Network wasn’t a simple process (logos or contracts with voice actors make some titles trickier to modernize). It’s finally happening, and soon.

Capcom has announced that starting on September 29, you will be able to purchase Mega Man Legends for PlayStation 3 and Vita on the PlayStation Store. It will not be compatible with the PSP, if that’s how you’re still rolling with PS1 titles.

Capcom is pricing it at $10. I suspect the publisher is expecting the inevitable follow-up question. No, we don’t have any insight on if (possibly when?) Mega Man Legends 2 will get the same treatment.

However, you can dig into The Misadventures of Tron Bonne once you make it through this classic. Not sure what Mega Man Legends is all about? Check out our Super Replay.

Our Take
I remember playing this on my PS1, but not finishing it. I seem to remember the last boss giving me more than a little trouble. Time it give it another go, even though it probably isn’t quite as good as nostalgia leads me to believe.
