We discovered a new Danganronpa was in the works at this past GDC, but Spike Chunsoft revealed new details at Sony's pre-TGS event.
Not only did Spike Chunsoft show off footage of the game, it also revealed the latest entry in the series would come to PlayStation 4 and Vita. This is the first time the series has been released on a home console, previously the Vita and PSP were its only homes.
Spike Chunsoft had even more surprises in store. The series, which has centered on students murdering one another for freedom, had a courtroom packed with different-looking Monokumas. Whether these bears are a part of the vicious game or adding to it isn't clear, but it's definitely an interesting twist in the series.
Creator Kazutaka Kodaka said more would be revealed in the near future.
