XCOM: Enemy Unknown Is Free To Play This Weekend On Steam
We might have to wait six months for XCOM 2, but that just means we have time to hone our skills in its predecessor. To make sure you’re ready for the humanity to claw back from defeat, 2K and Firaxis are giving you the weekend to play XCOM: Enemy Unknown at no cost.
For those interested in purchasing it, 2K has knocked 75 percent off the price ($7.49). You can purchase it with the large Enemy Within expansion and two smaller add-ons for $10.
Additionally, XCOM 2 is now available for pre-order on Steam. Those that choose to do so will receive the Resistance Warrior pack that includes customization options (outfits, headgear, face paint). It also unlocks an unnamed survivor from the first game as a recruit.
XCOM 2 will be out for PC on February 5, 2016. For more, check out our preview from Gamescom.
