Destiny 2.0 Update Is 17 GB, So You Might Want To Get That Download Started

If you’re hoping to dive back into Destiny today with the new 2.0 update, you’re going to want to make sure to get the download started. The 17 GBs include new audio files for Ghost (R.I.P. Dinklebot) and massive changes to the game’s core systems.

The 2.0 update (which is listed as Version 1.14 via PlayStation Network) paves the way for release of The Taken King. Destiny’s largest expansion, which introduces an entirely new area and fight against the terrifying Oryx is out on September 15.

I’m going to give this another try after being scared off by The Dark Below. The change in leveling structure might be enough to keep me hooked.
