Many users are reporting issues downloading today's massive 17 GB Destiny update, and Bungie is looking into the issue.

Earlier today, Bungie's website, Bungie.net was experiencing issues, but those have apparently been resolved and the studio has moved onto the next problem – Destiny players are having trouble downloading the 2.0 update.

Unfortunately, all Bungie is offering at the moment is a request to be patient.

Our Take
Both editors Matt Miller and Brian Shea are having trouble getting Destiny update 2.0 downloaded, despite having started the process early this morning. Shea says that pausing and unpausing seems to help, but otherwise hasn't been able to do much other than stare at a stationary progress bar impatiently.
