Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney 6 On The Way For 3DS

by Kyle Hilliard on Sep 01, 2015 at 02:34 PM

Ace Attorney 6 was announced recently for 3DS, and it will be making its way to North America.

Details on the game are slim, but it will be directed by Takeshi Yamazaki, who has worked on the series extensively, but is not Phoenix Wright's originator. That title belongs to Shu Takumi. The game will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show later this year, and Capcom is hinting it will have a faster pace than previous entries in the series.

The last Ace Attorney game, Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodō Ryūnosuke no Bōken, released in Japan in July. It takes place near the end of the 19th century, features Sherlock Holmes, and has not been confirmed for release in North America.

Our Take
This is great news for Ace Attorney fans, but I wonder if this means we're definitely not getting Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodō Ryūnosuke no Bōken in North America. That would be unfortunate as the historical setting of that game seems really interesting.
