In the game, you play as an amnesiac astronaut who must solve puzzles and jump between body vessels to rediscover your past. You can check out the game's announcement trailer below. Platform(s) have not yet been announced.
It's not a new idea for Double Fine – it's one that appeared during a recent Amnesia Fortnight session where the studio shuts down all its current projects to work on new ideas for two weeks. The game has changed from its initial pitch, which you can see below. It started as a full, 3D third-person game, but has since turned 2D.

Our Take
Double Fine always delivers strange concepts that seem odd from a distance, but work well in practice. I'm excited to get my hands on Headlander and see how the whole thing works with Double Fine's sense of humor.
