by Matthew Kato on Aug 26, 2015 at 08:05 AM

FIFA 16 goes into wide release on September 22, but you can get your hands on a select number of teams – as well as try the new FIFA Ultimate Team Draft – ahead of time in early September.

The demo goes live on September 8-10* on all of the game's platforms – PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and 360.

It contains friendly play, FUT Draft (w/ an offline match), and six new skill games during the load screen, and also includes the new FIFA trainer HUD system, Bundesliga broadcast presentation (only on current gen and PC), and three stadium options: Borussia-Park, CenturyLink Field, and Santiago Bernabeu.

The teams in the demo are:

  • Barcelona
  • Borussia Dortmund
  • Borussia Mönchengladbach
  • Chelsea
  • Inter Milan
  • Manchester City
  • Paris Saint-Germain
  • Real Madrid
  • River Plate
  • Seattle Sounders
  • U.S. Women's National Team
  • Germany Women's National Team

For more on the game's modes, including the new FUT Draft, check out this previous preview.

*Exact date/time depends on platform and area. EA reserves the right to change the demo date.

Our Take
I wasn't instantly taken with Madden's Draft Champions feature as much as I thought I might be, but I'm intrigued to see if FUT Draft feels different.
