Weekend Warrior 8/21/2015
There are a lot of loose-ends being tied up this weekend. A few of us are trying to run through Destiny before the new expansion comes out next month. And, as always, many of us are still playing The Witcher. But the number one thing on our minds this weekend? Chipotle.
Mike Futter (@Futterish) – I'm going to be playing some more Hitman: Absolution and building decks for both the Star Wars LCG and Netrunner LCG. I'm bringing both of those to PAX next week, so hit me up if you want a game!
Brian Shea (@BrianPShea) – I'm plowing through the downloadable content for Destiny Year 1 this weekend. I just finished the Dark Below story content, and am now focusing on getting my light level up. Outside of that, I'll be playing some Super Mario 3D World and Saints Row IV for Xbox One.
Ben Reeves (@BenjaminReeves) – I've had a long week, so I'm looking forward to sitting down with some Witcher 3. I feel like I'm almost at the end of that game, but it's been going on forever. Thankfully, I like it. I also plan to head out to the drive-in and eat some Chipotle.
Andrew Reiner (@Andrew_Reiner) – I'm finally finishing up The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. I estimate I have another 10 to 15 hours of gameplay before I see the credits roll. If I don't complete the game this weekend, it will be next week, as I don't want Witcher hanging over me when Metal Gear and Mad Max ship on September 1. The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is the only show I'll likely watch.
Alissa McAloon (@Gliitchy) – Being sick sucks, but this cold is going to give me a solid excuse to stay home and play some games this weekend. I recently picked up Saints Row IV, so chances are I'll be spending some time with that ridiculous world soon. Otherwise, I've yet to take down Skolas in Destiny. Not looking forward to that fight.
Jeff Marchiafava (@GIJeffM) – Geralt has been patiently waiting for my return to The Witcher 3, but after a busy week, I'm wary of jumping back into a massive and time-consuming RPG. I might just play it cool and dabble in some more Galak-Z - shooting space bugs and enemy fighter ships in zero gravity has a Zen-inducing quality to it. Also, when Reeves accidentally emailed the entire staff about his weekend plans, he got me in the mood for Chipotle. So I might go to Chipotle. Thanks, Reeves.
Kyle Hilliard (@KyleMHilliard) – I'll be working on a review game this weekend, so I won't be playing much of anything else. Otherwise, I am looking forward to the premiere of Tig Notaro's new hour stand-up special on HBO and maybe cooking something delicious. Knowing me and my cooking abilities, though, it will probably be something mediocre whose potential I've squandered.
