Second Limited Edition Rise Of The Tomb Raider Poster Revealed
At San Diego Comic-Con, Xbox and Crystal Dynamics announced that it would be releasing a 4-part limited edition series of posters showcasing the iconic adventurer from the Tomb Raider series. The first poster, drawn by comic book artist Geof Darrow, featured Lara Croft fighting off wolves and bears on a cliff side with a high waterfall on display in the background. The second, revealed today, takes a much more minimalist approach.
The poster, which was unveiled for Gamescom 2015, was created by the London-based design studio La Boca. The design is intentionally minimalist, but according to La Boca's co-founder and creative director Scott Bendall, the team had a very specific message it wanted to get across with the poster. “We wanted the poster to have a feel of being underground, discovering something wondrous," he says. "Exploring and uncovering a hidden place for the first time in centuries.”

Rise of the Tomb Raider is set to launch on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10. It will be coming to PC early next year with a PlayStation date likely sometime later in 2016. For more on Rise of the Tomb Raider, you can click the link below to go to our coverage hub from earlier this year.
