Explore PT's Horrifying Hallway In Fan-Made Unity Recreation

by Tim Turi on Aug 03, 2015 at 01:32 PM

Konami may have officially shuttered the haunted abode from PT, but a hard-working fan and aspiring developer has recreated the infamous stretch of corridor. What began as a 3D modeling workshop snowballed into something much more ambitious and unsettling.

The project was created in Unity, and it features all the basic trappings of the "playable teaser" for the cancelled Silent Hills that Konami pulled from PSN amidst the falling out with developer Hideo Kojima. Creator Farhan Qureshi does an excellent job of capturing the dreadful atmosphere and general look of PT, even though there are some minor decorative differences between the two iterations. Qureshi even went as far as creating a model of the ghostly Lisa to haunt the hallway.

Just download Unity for free, then click this link to get Qureshi's PT creation. For more comparisons between Konami's official PT demo and Qureshi's creation, head over to Polygon for more details.
