Jillian Aversa and Doug Perry's Musical Tribute To Nier Is Both Beautiful And Haunting
Vocalist Jillian Aversa is no stranger to video game tributes. Her YouTube channel is full of game-themed music videos, ranging from The Legend of Zelda all the way to Metal Gear Solid. Her latest tribute, featuring Doug Perry, is a percussion and vocal arrangement of the "Song of the Ancients" track from the original Nier game.
This tribute video comes only a month after Square Enix announced a Nier sequel out of nowhere. And though the video was filmed at MAGFest in National Harbor, Maryland some time before the announcement, its release serves to celebrate the cult classic RPG.
