[Update] Sony Says PlayStation Network Is Operational Again

Update: Sony has updated the PlayStation Network status page. All seems to be headed back to normal now.

The PlayStation Network is currently facing some problems in a variety of areas. Sony reports partial outages affecting a number of features.

While sign-in isn’t impacted, there are errors launching some games and video applications, accessing social features like trophies and messages, and playing with people online. The PlayStation Store is also experiencing issues with browsing and purchasing.

We’ll continue to monitor the situation and update when there is more information. As a reminder, network errors may not impact all users.
