Ben Affleck And Geoff Johns Teaming Up For Stand-Alone Batman Film
Fans have been a little hot and cold on the idea of Ben Affleck taking on the role of Batman, but you might want to get used to seeing him in the cowl. The actor is set to direct a stand-alone Batman film after next year's Batman V. Superman hits theaters.
Movie fans may have already been cued into the fact that Ben Affleck was set to helm the next Batman film, but now we know that Affleck will be co-writing the script with A-lists DC Comics talent Geoff Johns. In addition to being DC Comics’ chief creative officer, Johns has written comics such as Green Lantern, Batman, and Justice League and has also snagged some a few writing credits for television shows like Smallville, Arrow, and The Flash.
