Xbox head Phil Spencer stopped by the PC Gaming Show to announce that Double Helix's Killer Instinct reboot will be coming to PC.

Originally a free-to-play Xbox One exclusive, the fighting game has two seasons released so far. Spencer did not elaborate on any sort of release window.

On Twitter, it was confirmed that the PC version is being developed in-house by David Lang of Iron Galaxy Studios. 

[Update: Cross-play and cross-buy between Killer Instinct on PC and Xbox One have both been confirmed by an Microsoft employee via twitter. Killer Instinct's PC release will also support both Xbox One and 360 fighting sticks.]
