Fire Emblem If Becomes Fire Emblem Fates In The West

Nintendo continues to tease the next Fire Emblem with flashy trailers. This morning's digital presentation was another opportunity for fans to get a glimpse.

In addition to the video, we've also learned that Fire Emblem If isn't what the game will be called in the west. Our version is called Fire Emblem Fates.

Nintendo has confirmed to us its plans to release two different versions of Fire Emblem Fates here, as it will in Japan. Each version has a different side of the campaign, with the other (and a third alternate story) available as DLC, though those specifics haven't been laid out for the North American market.

Fire Emblem Fates will be out in 2016.
