Yo-Kai Watch Set To Invade The West This Holiday On 3DS

Japan's extremely popular Yo-Kai Watch series of spirit-catching games is finally set to make its debut here in North America. Nintendo announced that the first title in the series will be here this holiday, two and a half years after its Japanese debut.

The first trailer shows off the game's titular watch mechanic used to summon creatures to fight on your behalf, as well as touchscreen inputs used to power up the Yo-Kai. The title features RPG mechanics similar to Pokemon.
