by Brian Shea on Jun 11, 2015 at 06:32 AM

InXile Entertainment has announced that all backers who pledge more than $20 to The Bard's Tale IV's Kickstarter campaign will receive copies of the first three Bard's Tale games at no additional cost if the game is successfully funded. As of this writing, the campaign has 29 days to go and has raised over $1,167,000 of its $1,250,000 goal.

The Bard's Tale Trilogy will be released to Kickstarter backers after the campaign has been successfully funded. The versions will be emulated from the classic games. InXile has also agreed to terms with The Bard's Tale III Rebecca "Burger" Heineman to work on updated versions of the three games based on the Apple IIGS versions to run natively on modern Windows PCs and Macs, which will also be delivered to backers at no additional cost once they are completed.
