Logitech Announces A Pair Of Racing Wheels For New Consoles

Logitech has announced two force feedback wheels for sale – one for the Xbox One and the other for the PlayStation 4 – for racers looking to get serious on the speedways.

The G29 Driving Force (above) for the PS4 – also compatible on the PS3 and PC – features dual-motor force feedback, stainless steel pedals, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and helical gearing like real cars have for more realistic steering. The wheel also comes with built-in clamps for mounting, LED lights telling you the optimal time to shift, and extra dials allowing you to tweak the wheel to suit your driving style.

The G920 Driving Force (left, pedals not shown) – for the Xbox One and PC – has a similar feature set as the G29 except it boasts the optional Driving Force Shifter. This is a six-speed manual stick peripheral with a push-down reverse and its own mounting clamps.

The G920 does not come with the LED lights or the driving dials.

The G29 combo comes out in July for $399.99, and the G920 is released in October for the same price. The Driving Force Shifter is also out in October for $59.99.
