Smite Gets New Arena Map On PC Next Week, Xbox One Soon

Hi-Rez is throwing players to the lions starting next week. The Smite studio is adding a new map for arena mode on Tuesday.

The new Arena is deocrated like a bright, Roman colisseum. Lions serve as guardians for power boosts, and heavy minions look more like hulking warriors than the siege towers found in the existing Arena map.

Smite is free-to-play and available on PC and Xbox One (currently closed beta). Hi-Rez is planning to release Smite to all on Microsoft's current-gen console later this year. For more, you can read our impressions.
