Resogun Soundtrack And Wipeout-Themed Ship DLC Out Today

by Mike Futter on Jun 10, 2015 at 09:03 AM

Update: The DLC is available now, and Sony confirms that the soundtrack is included in the $7.99 season pass.

Original Story:

Resogun is getting another burst of DLC, so you can save the last humans in new and exciting ways. First up is a bundle of five ships modeled after those featured in futuristic racing series, Wipeout.

Each of the five vehicles (Feisar, Piranha, Auricom, AG Sys, and Quirex) have their own attributes that are intended to reference their Wipeout versions. You can get them individually for $1.49 or in a bundle for $3.99.

Additionally, there are three more human packs out today (bringing the total to five). These are normally humans that unlock at specific times of the year, but are being offered for sale at $.99 each. All of this content is included in the $7.99 season pass, along with the other two human packs and Heroes and Defenders updates.

Also announced today was the 17-track Resogun soundtrack. This is available on the PlayStation Store for PS4 ($7.99). The PlayStation Blog post is unclear about whether this is included in the season pass, so we've reached out for clarification. We'll update should we receive a response.

The add-ons don't yet seem to be available in the PlayStation Store, but should appear soon. For more on Resogun, you can read up on the title in our review.
