Play As Boss-Turned-Hero Quint In Fan-Made Mega Man Spinoff
A Mega Man mega fan has created a spinoff game that you can play for free right now.
A fan by the username of ACESpark posted Quint's Revenge in Sprites Inc.'s forum, along with a backstory explanation of why Quint, a former opponent of Mega Man, is now hunting down Wily's bosses (it has something to do with a predestination paradox but who cares, it's a video game!). Quint has a variety of abilities at his disposal, including a Sonic Dash, Dash Jump, Ledge Jump, Magnetic Gloves, and the highly coveted ability to duck.
ACESpark says that Quint's Revenge is the length of a standard Mega Man game, featuring 8 Robot Masters, 6 Fortress stages, and an intro stage. You can download it for free at the link below.

Our Take
It's always cool when
fans don't let the ineptitude of a developer (I'm looking at you, Capcom!)
stand in the way of their enjoyment of a franchise and create their own sequel.
I haven't gotten a chance to check out Quint's Revenge, but the comments from
other fans seems positive. Considering it's free, there's no excuse not to
check it out!
