by Mike Futter on Jun 01, 2015 at 09:07 AM

Sony has announced five more titles for its PlayStation Now streaming service, starting tomorrow. This month brings an assortment of games from a different genres and targeted to different age groups.

For the younger players in the house, Puppeteer and Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I Don't Know Why are a great fit. If you are interested in waging war, Way of the Samurai 3 and Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 give you a couple of ways to do it. Finally, time-bending puzzle platformer Braid arrives on the service.

With these additions, the PlayStation Now library includes over 125 PlayStation 3 games. The service offers a la carte, time-limited downloads or a subscription option.

Subscriptions are coming to Vita and PlayStation TV in the coming months. However, if you already have a subscription through the PlayStation 4, PS3, or an eligible Sony televsions or blu-ray player, you'll be able to access anything you rented on one of those platforms now on Vita or PS TV. Just look for games listed as "playable" instead of carrying a rental price.

Our Take
I'm not sure what it would take to get me to pay for a PlayStation Now subscription. Perhaps I'll get the itch to play something in my PS3 backlog on my Vita in bed. That would certainly be motivation, but the library needs to get a big more substantial before I get to that point.
