The Witcher 3 Patched On PC, Console Patches Coming Soon

by Kyle Hilliard on May 23, 2015 at 08:20 AM

The Witcher 3 has received a substantial patch on PC that fixes and cleans up a number of issues.

It offers overall stability improvements, better hair and foliage, blood particles will now appear properly when killing enemies in the water, and you can no longer shoot bolts at friendly NPCs. There are a whole lot of other improvements, as well. You can find the whole list here. Regarding the console versions of the game, CD Projekt RED writes, "The console version of the patch is coming and will be available very soon."

Unfortunately, this particular patch does not appear to address the issue Andrew Reiner has been having with his saves, but the patch notes for the console versions (when it becomes available) will probably be different.
