Razer's Latest Ultra-Thin Mouse Mat Glows With 16.8 Million Possible Colors

Most mouse pads just sit on your desk like lazy rugs, but Razer's new ultra-thin gaming mouse mat is illuminated with over 16.8 million customizable color options, so you can trick out your desk like a street racer.

Razer’s new mat has lighting along its left, right and bottom borders that can sync up with other Chroma enabled Razer products. Razer is also releasing the Chroma SDK, which means that game developers can create their own lighting effects for their games.

“The Razer Firefly opens up a new category for the Chroma family,” says Razer co-founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan. “We’ve designed the Razer Firefly with the best components for a gaming mouse mat, along with the new, fully-customizable Chroma lighting. No one said you can’t win with style.”

The Firefly Mouse Mat will release for $59.99 later this June.

Our Take
It's rare the a mouse pad piques my interested. While I'm sure this won't revolutionize gaming, it looks like a fun product, and I'm actually interested in checking it out.
