[Update] Sony Now Reports All Services Up And Running

Update: As of 9:44 a.m. Pacific / 12:44 p.m. Eastern, Sony is reporting all services up and running. Previous problems with sign-in and account management have been rectified.

Sony is reporting problems with PlayStation Network affecting users on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Sony suggests a workaround for sign-in and account management problems that may yield results, but says that it is addressing the wider issue.

“Customers who are having difficulty signing in should restart their consoles and try again,” Sony writes. “We appreciate your patience while we address this.” This latest service update was posted at 9 a.m. Pacific / 12 p.m. Eastern.
