See Plans

Five talented artists have teamed up to turn some popular Sega games into bona fide works of art, and you can see them all right here.

Art gallery Cook & Becker commissioned the works, which include beautiful takes on Streets of Rage (seen above), Jet Set Radio, Phantasy Star, Golden Axe, and Shinobi. The artists collaborated with both Cook & Becker and Sega for the commissions, using original assets from the games.

Only 200 copies of each poster-sized print are being sold – the first 25 prints of each will set you back $99, after which the price will go up. Take a look at all the other prints in the art gallery below.

You can read about the artists and order the prints at Cook & Becker's site. The gallery's proprietors say that more Sega-themed artwork will go on sale this summer, and invites other interested artists to contact them.
