Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition Coming To Console

by Daniel Tack on May 14, 2015 at 11:00 PM

Larian Studios' Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition will be coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC at the end of 2015 with Focus Home Interactive as publisher. The new edition will be free for current PC owners, and features thousands of tweaks and improvements to existing content. There have been many changes to the story and narrative, changes to the skill system, full voice implementation for all NPCs, improvements to existing questlines, and many other enhancements.

Console players will get their first taste of the game with an intuitive control scheme and split-screen co-op to play the tactical RPG in a whole new way. The console edition will be playable at E3, so we'll have a chance to see just how compatible joystick controls work with the rather complex combat system that lies at the core of Divinity: Original Sin.

Our Take
I'm a huge fan of Divinity: Original Sin and I'm excited that console players will have the chance to check out this awesome RPG with all of the improvements and more that have come online since launch.
