Reader Discussion: What's Your Temperature On Splatoon?

Nintendo's family friendly Wii U shooter Splatoon hits later this month, but with this past weekend's Global Testfire giving many fans their first chance to try out the game, we want to know where you currently stand with the messy title.

I was personally unsure about the game's mechanics and how it would handle, but after playing for a couple hours during the Global Testfire, I'm now among those who are excited for the fast-paced ink-fest. I loved the frantic action, and the awesome soundtrack that matches it.

Did you have a chance to try out the Global Testfire? If so, did your opinion of Splatoon change? Did you like the gyro controls, or did you figure out how to turn them off? Are you planning on picking up Splatoon when it launches later this month?
