In-Game Dying Light Hint Suggests Release Date For Bozak Horde DLC
Techland's first-person, open-world zombie-apocalypse game is set in a ruined city, scattered with hundreds of broken-down vehicles. Among Dying Light's derelict vehicles are some taxi cabs, each with a number to call the fictional dispatcher. Curious gamers are finding that calling the number suggests a specific release date for the next DLC offering.
Previously, callers who punched in the California number (+1 661-320-4746, call it yourself!) were greeted by an emergency message tying in with the post-apocalyptic setting. At some unknown time the message was replaced by one with a gravelly voiced man saying to visit the stadium on May 26, where Bozak will judge them. Listen to it below.
The previously detailed Bozak Horde DLC features single-player or co-op arena fights against waves of increasingly difficult enemies, a commonly added mode in the add-on content market.
The in-game hint seems very convincing, especially since it lines up with existing information. However, we're remaining skeptical on this one. We've reached out to publisher Warner Bros. for comment.

Our Take
Dying Light is a ton of fun, and Techland has been doing a
great job supporting the game post-launch. Horde modes don't excite me as much
as they used to, but it might be a fun excuse to return to the zombie-infested
city.
