Wasteland 2 Is Getting Free Game Of Year Edition Upgrade

Wasteland 2 is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as a “game of the year” edition, but developer inXile didn’t want to leave PC fans out in the cold. The developer announced today that anyone who backed the game on Kickstarter or purchased it outright will receive a free update to the new version.

The game of the year edition has been upgraded to Unity 5 improves textures, character models, and lighting. The developer has also added new, fully-voiced dialog to enhance the original version.

There are gameplay changes included as well, including new perks and quirks, a new system that allows Rangers to target individual body parts, and balancing changes that impact difficulty, loot drops, and more.
