Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor Game Of The Year Edition Coming Next Week

All who wander are not lost. They are just waiting for all of the DLC to get packaged in with the game.

Warner Bros. has announced a Game of the Year Edition for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. Included are the following items:

• Story Add-ons: The Lord of the Hunt, The Bright Lord
• Skins: Dark Ranger, Captain of the Watch, Lord of the Hunt, The Bright Lord, Power of Shadow, Lithariel Skins
• Runes: Hidden Blade, Deadly Archer, Flame of Anor, Rising Storm, Orc Slayer, Defiant to the End, Elven Grace, Ascendant, One with Nature
• Missions: Guardians of the Flaming Eye, The Berserks, The Skull Crushers
• Challenge Mode: Test of Power, Test of Speed, Test of Wisdom, Endless Challenge, Test of the Wild, Test of the Ring, Test of Defiance
• Photo Mode

The Game of the Year Edition will arrive on May 5 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. All three versions carry a price tag of $49.99. For more, check out our review of the game’s original release in 2014.

Our Take
With the growing price of DLC and season passes and inevitable re-releases of high-profile games, patient gamers can save quite a bit. This bundle is well-priced for the offerings, and as someone who thoroughly enjoyed Shadow of Mordor, it’s hard not to recommend this.
