Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition Xbox One Console In The Works

Josh Holmes, studio head for Halo 5: Guardians, says a limited edition Halo 5 Xbox One is in the works, though he didn't have any pictures to share.

In response to fan inquiry on twitter, Holmes wrote, "There is a limited edition console coming, yes. It hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s pretty sweet."

Microsoft put together an Xbox One bundle for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, but it did not change the aesthetics of the console in any way. Halo 4, on the other hand, received a a custom console to coincide with the game's release.

Our Take
This is not unexpected. Just about every Halo has received a special edition console. I look forward to seeing what it looks like. The Xbox One hasn't deviated much from the solid black design, outside of special giveaway consoles.
