Square Enix Holding E3 Press Conference This Year
Square Enix announced on its website that it will hold a press conference this year at E3. Of course, the company isn't revealing much yet — that's what the conference is for — but it did say to expect "some exciting news." It's anyone's guess what Square Enix will show off. Final Fantasy XV is getting some new attention thanks to the recent demo, and Kingdom Hearts III hasn't had any new information for a while. Square Enix also just recently revealed Deus Ex: Mankind Divided in our recent cover story, and announced a new Star Ocean game last week.
The press conference is on June 16 at 9AM PDT in Downtown Los Angeles. Don't worry if you can't attend, Square Enix will be streaming the conference on its YouTube and Twitch channels.

Our Take
I'll be honest - at this point I'm hoping Square shows some more of Kingdom Hearts III. Fans have seen so little of this game that they've been waiting on for many years now. It's time to see something more substantial and impressive. Let's also hope the company has some surprises in store. My favorite part of E3 is when that totally unexpected announcement hits. Of course, Square Enix has also gotten hopes up many times in the past – sometimes it's hard to remain hopeful.
