Fight For A New Evolve Skin In Hyde Vs. Wraith Throwdown Challenge
Turtle Rock is hosting another weekend challenge, giving players the opportunity to battle online for a new cosmetic skin. This time, it's Hyde against Wraith. Only one can win, so choose a side and get to work.
The rules of the Hyde Vs. Wraith are simple: If a team of players that includes Hyde wins against the Wraith, the scale turns in Hyde's favor. If Wraith beats a team of the same composition, that's a notch in its belt. At the end of the weekend, players will get either Hyde's predator skin or Wraith's voodoo skin, depending on which one has a higher win percentage.
You don't have to play as Hyde or Wraith to earn prizes; just play online between Friday at 12:01 a.m. Eastern and 12:01 a.m. on Monday. Unless you're Hyde (or on a team with him) or playing as Wraith, you won't be contributing toward the competition's win percentages.
Skins will be delivered by April 30.
Our Take
Turtle Rock's been steadily releasing new skins for the game, and they've added a fun collectible element to it in the process. A few weeks back, players had the chance to earn the voodoo skin for Goliath. Around St. Patrick's Day, players could score a set of trapper predator skins by helping to hit 35,000 wins on a team with Griffin. Don't be surprised to see more monster voodoo skins in the future.
