Reader Discussion: Rock Band 4 Or Guitar Hero Live?
It's way too early to make a decision between the two (which technically you don't have to), but I am going to make you do it anyway.
As the past has proven, there is no reason both of these games can't exist simultaneously. Each has their own distinct mechanics and likely exclusive songs to offer, and many music game fans will likely purchase both, but if you had to pick just one, which would it be?
With Rock Band 4 your past library will move forward, and your instruments probably will, too. With Guitar Hero Live, you will be starting from scratch with an updated peripheral and brand new mechanics.
