A month removed from its launch, Battlefield Hardline is running pretty smoothly. But that doesn't mean developer Visceral Games doesn't have improvements to make.

On the Battlefield blog, lead multiplayer designer Thad Sasser outlined the changing coming to the first title update. The first five changes address the major issues pointed out by the community – the horrible spawing in Team Deathmatch, lengthening the Conquest battles, balancing some weapons, and Punkbuster/Nvidia driver tweaks for PC players. In addition, the console versions are adding the Rent A Server program seen in the past few Battlefield games.

You can read more about the changes on the official blog. Look for the patch "soon."

Our Take
These are smart changes to start with, particularly the broken spawn system in TDM, which made it unplayable. Once the Rent A Server program begins we should have a better idea of what maps the community truly prefers.
