DICE Wants Your Help In Making The Next Map for Battlefield 4

by Justin Mikos on Apr 06, 2015 at 08:54 AM

In February, DICE LA began the Community Map Project which aimed to involve the community more in the DLC map creation process. Two rounds of voting have already been completed which has led to the creation of a new Jungle themed map that will be centered around a waterfall.

In the third poll, which you can check out for yourself here, DICE LA wants you to choose between three different map layouts. The winning map design will be further iterated on after it is chosen, but the rough idea of the map will remain untouched.

The community map isn’t the only new content on the way for Battlefield 4 as new classic maps should be available in the future as well.

Our Take
It is always great to see a game continue to get so much support after launch and it is even better when developers involve their community. While Battlefield 4 had an infamous rough launch, it seems to be largely back on track now.
