Reader Discussion: Are You Still Achievement And Trophy Hunting?
One of the most impactful innovations of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 generation was the introduction of achievements and trophies. The digital bragging material gave us reason to play games differently (and longer) than we might otherwise, but has the luster faded?
After a decade of chasing achievements on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC platforms, are you still as enthusiastic as you once were? Are you still working to rack up platinum trophies, or have you given up the hunt?
If so, do you only care about your own list, or do you compare with other players? If you only go after some types trophies and achievements, which ones grab your interest?
