Mewtwo has long been rumored to be the first Super Smash Bros. DLC character, and Nintendo made it official today during its Direct video conference. Mewtwo is coming to both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game on April 28 for $3.99. If you want to purchase Mewtwo for both version of the game, you can get him for just $4.99. Club Nintendo members who have purchased and registered both versions of the game before March 31 will get a free download code of Mewtwo on April 15.
From the sound of this, Club Nintendo members will get the first crack at playing as Mewtwo. At a later date, Nintendo is releasing an Amiibo of Mewtwo for use in Super Smash Bros.
