WWE 2K Comes To Mobile In New Simulation Game

by Mike Futter on Mar 30, 2015 at 09:45 AM

If WWE Supercard doesn’t scratch your itch for wrestling on the go, 2K’s latest might be a better fit. WWE 2K is a simulation-style game coming this spring for iOS and Android.

Visual Concepts (which worked on the console versions with Yuke’s) and n-Space have created a version of the in-ring action for mobile devices. The full roster hasn’t yet been revealed, but John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Sting, Undertaker, Triple H, Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Bray Wyatt.

The game includes three match types, multiplayer, unlockables, and a career mode. If you want to be more original, you’ll be able to create your own superstar.

The title will cost $7.99 when it’s released. There’s no word yet on how the controls will be handled or if the title supports a bluetooth gamepad.

Our Take
2K has done a solid job of porting games like XCOM and BioShock to mobile devices. This game is built from the ground up, though. While its connected to the concepts in the console games, there’s no guarantee it plays exactly like them.
